Sarita L. Evans, J.D., fondly known by her clients as the “Entrepreneur Doula,” is a highly sought-after business coach in the Bay Area. Her unique ability to help entrepreneurs feel supported as they nurture their business visions stems from her lifelong experience successfully navigating entrepreneurship.

Starting her first business venture at 23, her successes include establishing Ladies Workout Express, a women’s fitness center; founding Move Around Fitness, a holistic corporate wellness program; and serving as Co-Founder and CFO of Spectrum CannaLabs, Inc., a product testing facility.

Evans earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Throughout her career, she has remained involved in the business community, serving on the faculty of Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment (WISE) and Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative, and on the Board of Conscious Capitalism of the Bay Area.

She realized her passion for mentoring and coaching people who shared her drive to start a business while mentoring with SCORE in the Bay Area.

Evans launched Entrepreneur Doula in 2026 with the mission to create accessible and inclusive programs that support organizations offering development programs and future entrepreneurs. She currently supports programs at Black Cultural Zone and continues to build a community where entrepreneurship can feel possible to anyone.
